Schedule Activity List View

The Schedule Activity List shows all scheduled activities in order by date.  Filter by project, job, activity/task and plan as needed.  

To use the schedule list view:

  1. Select the Calendar icon, then choose List View to load the schedule list.

  2. To filter tasks, choose from the following:

  • To limit the view to tasks in a specific project, select from the Projects list. This list includes only the projects associated with the FieldView vendor or superintendent login.

  • From the Jobs list, select a specific job as needed. This list includes only the jobs with tasks associated with the FieldView vendor or superintendent login.

  • To filter the list by a specific activity/task, choose from the Activities list. This list includes only tasks assigned to the FieldView vendor or tasks associated with jobs assigned to the FieldView login.

  • If you wish to view only tasks associated with a particular plan, choose from the Plans list.

  • If viewing the calendar from a superintendent login, choose a subcontractor or supplier from the Vendor list to limit the view to activities/tasks associated with a particular vendor.

  1. Click the GO! button to apply filters. FieldView tells you the number of tasks that fall into the filter parameters in parenthesis on the GO! button.

  2. Use the built-in grid sorting tools to consolidate or group tasks as needed.

  • Click column headings to sort data by a particular value. For example, to sort tasks by activity ID, click the Actv or Activity Name header.

  • Select and drag a column header into the open space at the top of the grid to group tasks under a particular heading. For example, to view activities by job, drag the Job or the Address field to the top.

  • To view the list by a particular value, drag the column heading to the left, so that the data value appears first on the grid.  

  • To reset the list, either click the Calendar+List View link at  the top of the page again.

  1. Click the job ID to access the Job Info dialog with detailed job-specific information, including purchase orders and job documents.

  2. Click the purchase order number link from the PO column to view a copy of the Purchase Order document.

  3. Click the Start or Complete date to access additional activity information and the Schedule Change dialog (details below)

To adjust schedules:

  1. From the Schedule Change dialog, review the activity start and complete dates.

  1. Click the job ID to access the Job Info dialog with detailed job-specific information, including purchase orders and job documents.

  2. To access additional vendor information on the Vendor Info dialog, click the vendor link.

  3. To move the activity forward in the schedule, click the +1 icon. Click repeatedly to continue to move the activity forward as needed.

  4. To add a day [duration] to lengthen the time needed to complete the activity, click the arrow —>calendar icon. Click repeatedly to extend the activity duration as needed.

  5. To move the activity back in the schedule, click the -1 icon. Click repeatedly to continue to move the activity back in the schedule as needed.

  6. To manually reschedule the activity, edit New Complete and New Start dates. Click the drop-down arrow to view a calendar and select a new date.

If you are manually adjusting the activity to occur later than originally scheduled, set the New Complete date first. If you are adjusting the activity to occur sooner than originally scheduled, set the New Start date first. FieldView will not allow you to set the New Start date later than the New Complete date or the New Complete date earlier than the New Start date.


FieldView supports scheduling adjustments in accordance with your FAST project schedule parameters, such as the number of days in your work week.


  1. Choose a schedule change reason from the Variance Reason list.

  2. Choose a responsible vendor from the Variance Vendor list. OPTIONAL.

  3. Click the Save to Pending button to log schedule adjustments onto the Pending Updates page awaiting submission to the back office ERP.

  4. To remove the activity from the Pending Updates page, re-access the Schedule Change form and click the Delete Pending Delay button.

  5. Column Status represents the current status of the activity

    1. ‘I’ indicates the activity is in process
    2. ‘U’ indicates an upcoming activity
    3. ‘H’ indicates the activity is now history
